Lizje Sarria


LIZJE SARRIA is a versatile Colombian performer, Songwriter/Producer, and solo artist, born in Los Angeles, CA. Her musical journey began at the age of three when she started singing. Influenced by the sounds she heard growing up, Lizje learned to love music from the voices of Whitney Houston, Lauryn Hill, Aretha Franklin, Mercedes Sosa, Colombian Folklore and all kinds of soulful music. Her stylistic influences range from RnB, Gospel, Rock, Jazz, Funk, Pop to the music of her Colombian roots. She completed her B.A. in Performance, Contemporary Writing and Production and Latin Music Performance at Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA in 2017.
Lizje is a true artist, soulful and driven by the healing power of music.

Highlights of LIZJE's Career
Featured soloist for The Rolling Stones Songbook Vol.2 of The Andrew Oldham Orchestra – Singing in – “Its the Singer not the Song.” Recorded in Bogota with the endorsement of RETRO KNOB with Telefunken Microphones.

In November 2013 Lizje was invited to Switzerland, Geneva and France to sing at Jiva Hill with Bassist NATHALIE GAMPERT. She has also produced/sang vocal arrangement with nationally recognized composer and bassist Natalie Gampert (Switzerland) for a documentary of the Embera Indigenous community. Documentary that was awarded the price of Barcelona’s International Documentary Festival of Human Rights on June 2012. Lizje is greatly dedicated to social change. She has held concerts for the imprisoned, orphan, and musical workshops in Colombia, Japan and the US.
